With an elite weight-to-power ratio and battle-tested components, the GOA delivers unstoppable strength, comfort, and corrosion resistance for deep drop, pier, and bottom fishing.
The rod features a blue anodized ALPS Centra Lock reel seat, EVA and Hypalon grips for lasting durability, and spiral “acid” wrapped ALPS 316 stainless steel guides for maximum corrosion resistance and control. Our patented quick-clip hook keeper rounds out the premium design.

Finally got my Gulf rod. Super light for what it can do so I don’t get tired while out on my boat all day. Feels durable, I will have to push it to its limits to see. But overall really good work on this rod and I will get a few Witch Doctor rods down the road to add to my collection

Absolutely amazing stick! After speaking with Kyle, I decided to purchase the Gulf of America in honor of the Greatest country in the World and #47, and in particular it’s description and specs. The rod outperformed any other rod I have ever owned for deep drop. I put it to its first test deep dropping for tiles in the Hudson Canyon this week and it was amazing! Handled 3lbs.of lead in waters 450-800′ pulling tiles all day with several double headers. Looking to put it to its real test on some huge tiles and tuna this fall! Definitely buying more sticks from the Witch Doctor!
